AI Workflow Automation

n8n Automation Development

As an n8n automation agency, we set up n8n on your server or n8n Cloud, build the workflows and AI agents that run on it, and keep them running with monitoring and fixes.

When n8n is the right pick

n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform that you can run on your own server or use as a hosted cloud service. It connects apps through ready-made nodes, HTTP requests and webhooks, and it lets a developer drop in JavaScript or Python wherever the visual nodes run out.

We recommend n8n when workflows have heavy branching, loops or custom logic, when run volumes are high enough that per-task pricing on other platforms gets expensive, or when you want customer data to stay on infrastructure you control. Its built-in AI agent and LangChain nodes also make it a natural home for AI-heavy workflows.

n8n is a weaker fit when non-technical staff need to build and edit their own automations. For that, Zapier is easier to pick up, and Make.com sits in between. We’ll tell you which one suits your team during the free audit.

What we build on n8n

Self-hosted n8n setup

Docker deployment on a VPS or your cloud account, with PostgreSQL, SSL, automatic backups and update management. Queue mode with Redis and workers for higher volumes.

Production workflows

Lead routing, CRM syncs, order processing, document handling and reporting, split into sub-workflows so each piece is easy to test and reuse.

AI agent workflows

Agent nodes connected to Claude or OpenAI models with tools for your CRM, database or help desk, plus memory and approval steps.

Error workflows and alerting

A dedicated error workflow catches failures, retries what’s safe to retry, and alerts us in Slack or email with the failing execution.

Custom code nodes

JavaScript or Python for data shaping, signature checks, API calls with unusual authentication and anything else the standard nodes can’t do.

Migrations to n8n

We rebuild existing Zapier Zaps or Make scenarios in n8n, run both side by side, and switch over once the results match.

n8n workflows we’ve found work well

High-volume webhook processing

Thousands of form submissions, order events or tracking pings a day, processed on your own server without per-task fees.

Database-backed automations

Workflows that read and write directly to PostgreSQL, MySQL or Supabase, such as syncing a custom app with your CRM.

Private AI pipelines

Documents or emails processed on infrastructure you control, with only the necessary text sent to an AI model.

Internal tools backends

n8n webhooks acting as a lightweight API behind an internal form, dashboard or Slack command.

How an n8n project runs

  1. Audit and hosting decision We review your workflows and data rules and recommend n8n Cloud or self-hosting, with the reasons in writing.
  2. Environment setup We set up the instance, credentials, user access and backups, plus a separate test environment for larger builds.
  3. Build and review Workflows are built in stages. You review each one with real data before it’s activated.
  4. Run and maintain We monitor executions, apply n8n updates after testing them, fix breaks and send a report every two weeks.

Questions we get about n8n automation

Should we use n8n Cloud or self-host it?

n8n Cloud is simpler and n8n handles the hosting. Self-hosting gives you full control over data and no execution-based fees, but someone has to manage the server, backups and updates. We can do that as part of the monthly scope.

Do we need a developer on staff to use n8n?

Not if we’re maintaining it. Your team can still view runs, pause workflows and edit simple settings. Larger changes are easier for someone comfortable with data structures and APIs.

Can you move our existing Zapier or Make automations to n8n?

Yes. We list every existing automation, rebuild the ones still in use, run old and new side by side, and switch off the old version once the outputs match.

Is self-hosted n8n free to use?

The self-hosted version can be used for your own internal business workflows under n8n’s license. If you plan to offer n8n-powered features to your own customers, check n8n’s licensing terms first, and we’ll flag it during the audit.

Who owns the workflows and the server?

You do. The instance runs in your account and the workflows can be exported as files at any time. We document each one so another developer can pick them up.
