Ecommerce website development services on any platform
E-commerce development is the design, build and setup of an online store: theme, product catalog, checkout, payments, shipping, tax and the apps that run the back end. We pick the platform based on your catalog size, budget, team skills and where your customers already shop.
Intelligent Solutions Tech has built and run online stores for brands in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia since 2018. We set up the store, connect it to your accounting, inventory and marketing tools, and stay on to maintain it if you want us to.
Every build runs in stages. You review the design, then the catalog, then checkout and payments on a staging store before anything goes live.

How a store build runs
- Discovery We review your products, suppliers, fulfillment, markets and current tools. Use the website cost calculator for an early figure.
- Platform recommendation and proposal You get a written recommendation and a fixed scope and price, listing every page, app and connection included.
- Design and theme Homepage, collection and product page designs come first. You approve them before we build.
- Catalog, checkout and connections We load products, set shipping and tax rules, connect payments and link your accounting and inventory systems.
- Launch and support We test orders end to end, launch, and monitor the store with a report every two weeks on speed, errors, sales channels and fixes.
What happens after launch
A store isn’t finished at launch. Products change, apps update, and checkout problems cost sales quietly. We offer ongoing maintenance covering theme and app updates, uptime checks, speed fixes and small changes requested by your team.
We connect the store to the rest of your business through our integrations and API development team, so orders flow into QuickBooks or Xero and stock stays in sync across channels. Order processing, returns and customer emails can be handed to our non-voice BPO team.
For traffic, we run product-level SEO, Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns through PPC management, and social content for product launches.

Typical e-commerce projects
First store for a growing brand
A brand selling through Instagram DMs or a marketplace moves to its own Shopify store with proper checkout, shipping rules and email capture.
Replatforming an older store
An ageing Magento or custom cart moves to Shopify or BigCommerce, with products, customers, order history and redirects carried across.
Marketplace expansion
A store already selling well on its own site adds Amazon, Walmart Marketplace or TikTok Shop, with one inventory count across every channel.
B2B ordering
Wholesale customers get their own login, price lists, minimum order quantities and net payment terms on WooCommerce or BigCommerce. See more for e-commerce brands.
Questions we get about ecommerce development
Which platform should we use?
Shopify suits most brands that want low maintenance. WooCommerce suits businesses already on WordPress or needing unusual product logic. BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce fit large catalogs and B2B. We’ll recommend one in writing after reviewing your products and team.
Can you move our store without losing search rankings?
We map every old product, category and page URL to its new address with 301 redirects, carry over titles and descriptions, and check Search Console after launch. Some short-term movement is normal, but a clean migration protects most of what you’ve built.
Do you manage Amazon and Etsy listings too?
Yes. We set up and manage listings on Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop, and keep inventory synced with your own store.
How much does an e-commerce build cost?
Use our website cost calculator for a starting estimate. The final figure comes in a written proposal with a fixed scope and price.
Are you a certified Shopify or Adobe partner?
No. We’re an independent team that builds on all the major platforms, so our platform recommendation isn’t tied to any vendor relationship.
